Ghazzawiyya (Arabic & English) :

Ghazzawiyya is Natalie Abou Shakra, a Gaza 2009 and Lebanon 2006 survivor. She lived the Gaza genocidal war, the 2006 war on Lebanon, served 'war time' as a child in the Lebanese civil war from 1987 and the 1996 Israeli genocide, and now is a self-proclaimed war addict who can't function outside war and conflict zones. She works with the International Solidarity Movment and was on the fifth Free Gaza Movement boat (Dignity MV) to Gaza where she remained for nine months. She is co-founder & on the steering committee of PSCABI (Palestinian Students' Campaign for the Cultural & Academic Boycott of Israel) and is a committed and unfaltering supporter of the one democratic state solution and the Palestinian civil society call for BDS. She is completing her PhD in London.
